Funeral planned for car wash shooting victim
Errold Peart shot, killed near his car wash
A funeral is scheduled for a man who was shot and killed while trying to stop a robbery near his car washing business in Miami Gardens.
A funeral for Errold Peart will be held at New Way Fellowship Praise and Worship Center at 16800 NW 22nd Avenue. It begins at 11 a.m.
Police said Peart, 59, tried stopping two teens from robbing a man on Sunday evening. As the teens ran away, one fired a shot, hitting Peart in the head.
Police believe the two shooters left the area in a four-door, grey Nissan.
