A 4-year-old girl died Saturday after drowning at a family pool party, police said.

At around 7 p.m., the girl, who was from Atlanta and visiting family in Miami, drowned at a pool at 15610 Palmetto Club Dr. She was taken to Baptist Hospital in cardiac arrest.

No other information was immediately released.
