State lawmakers are back to work in Tallahassee

Governor Rick Scott will deliver the State of the State speech before the Florida legislature opens its 2013 session Tuesday morning.

Excerpts from Scott’s speech show he is focusing on the economy and education, specifically on removing sales tax for manufacturing equipment and raises for teachers.

His speech is at 11 a.m. as the legislature reconvenes for a 60-day session.
