Homestead officer accused of asking woman about breasts, bra
Former cop's attorney confirms strange allegations
A woman accused a Homestead police officer of pulling her over and instead of taking her into custody, asked her about her breasts and left her in a darkened lot, according to her attorney. Now that officer's attorney has confirmed the bizarre set of allegations.
The woman said Homestead Police Officer Juan Senabre ran her car's license plate and accused her of driving on a suspended license. The woman said Senabre took her into custody, but instead of going to jail, drove her to a dark lot.
There, she claims Senabre asked her about her breasts and bra, and when she objected, she said he just dropped her off.
Senabre's attorney, Teri Guttman-Valdes, said her client did pull the woman over because of a suspended license and let her go, but only because the woman claimed it was all a mistake.
Aside from that, Guttman-Valdes said the officer "denies the allegations of wrongdoing... and expects to be vindicated based on discrepancies and inconsistencies in the complainant and witness testimonies."
Homestead Police would only say Senabre no longer works for the police department.
