A Swedish hospital tries to liven up its job search, encouraging "hot" nurses to apply for summer vacancies.

The recent tongue-in-cheek ad campaign by Stockholm South General Hospital sought applicants with "TV-series hot" looks and a sense of humor for substitute nursing positions, Swedish newspaper The Local reported.

But hospital officials stressed the description was only a way to generate some buzz, adding the campaign has been well-received.

"We think that people understand that it was written to catch people’s attention, there's been no negative feedback,” nursing manager Jorgen Andersson told The Local.

The hospital did add a statement to its website clarifying the ad, and Andersson said the hospital is ultimately seeking a qualified candidate, regardless of looks.
