Hurricane Sandy forces more flight cancellations at two local airports

More flights canceled at Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports

MIAMI -

1Hurricane Sandy has forced two local airports to cancel more flights Friday.

Miami International Airport has 39 cancellations -- 18 departures and 21 arrivals.

At Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, 39 flights have been canceled -- 18 departures and 21 arrivals.

All the flights were to or from the Bahamas or Jamaica.

If you have a flight scheduled for today, check Miami International's website or Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International's website before going to the airport.
