WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – John Goodman was been put on suicide watch at the Palm Beach County jail Saturday night.

He was convicted of vehicular manslaughter and booked Friday afternoon.

Corrections officers did make it clear that this does not necessarily mean he has given any indication that he plans to harm himself.

Friday, Goodman was convicted of DUI manslaughter, failure to render aide, and vehicular homicide in the death Scott Wilson in 2010.

The 48-year old will be sentenced on April 30.

He faces up to 30 years in jail.
