A manager at Forever 21 told police customers thought Clements was peeping in on them, according to an arrest affidavit. Police found several slits in the curtains that divided the dressing rooms, and Clements reportedly told police he used an iPhone and a Motorola cell phone to record videos of customers changing.

Police reported seeing videos of young women changing on the two cell phones. Clements also had a camcorder, but no video of women changing was found on it.

Clements was charged with nine counts of video voyeurism and breach of peace.
