FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A Broward County jury found a suspended Davie police officer guilty of sexual battery, a second-degree felony.
Stephen Olenchak faces up to 15 years in prison.

According to an affidavit, Olenchak's wife told police that her husband had fondled a girl in their home on several occasions, and once allegedly drugged her.
"I'm just happy the victim was able to get her day in court and face the accused," said Assistant State Attorney Neva Smith. "Justice was served. We are happy with the verdict. It was fair."
