FORT PIERCE, Fla. -

The St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections is being sued for access to public records related to Rep. Patrick Murphy's win.

A group called True The Vote and a former tea party leader filed the suit in federal court Monday.

They're requesting an inspection of a variety of records from the District 18 congressional race in which Murphy narrowly unseated former Rep. Allen West.

The St. Lucie Supervisor of Elections tells The Palm Beach Post (http://bit.ly/11K4B7x ) her office has been in discussions with True The Vote about inspecting the records but could not comment on the lawsuit because she hadn't seen it.
