MIAMI -

Three men were possibly struck by lightning Friday afternoon, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said.

Officials said the men, who are in their 30's or 40's, may have been struck near 320th Street at Southwest 162nd Avenue in Southwest Miami-Dade. It is not clear if they were directly struck or the lightning hit near where they were.

Two of the men were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center with burns. One victim suffered cardiac arrest and was airlifted to the hospital. The third victim was taken to Homestead Hospital with minor injuries.

No other information was released.
