A Florida bartender will be serving with a smile after striking it rich.

The Florida Lottery said Austin Hale, 27, won $500 a week for life in the new lucky $500 a week for life $1 scratch-off game.

Hale purchased the lucky ticket at a 7-Eleven store in Indian Harbour Beach.

Hale said,  “The other day while I was at the gas station I decided to try my luck by picking up $5 worth of the new $1 lucky $500 a week for life scratch-off ticket and the third ticket i scratched was the top prize winner.”

Hale said he has no immediate plans for the money. He said he enjoys his job as a bartender and has no plans to quit.

This scratch-off game launched two weeks ago. There are three $500 a week for life top prizes remaining.
