Man accused of impersonating law enforcement officer
Rodney Thompson charged
A man is accused of telling police he was a CIA agent and threatening to shoot the officers who arrested him.
Rodney Thompson, 35, is charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer without violence.
Thompson was arrested in the 1600 block of N. Federal Highway on Wednesday.
Thompson told arriving officers he was an agent for the CIA, say police. He then became aggressive when asked for identification.
Police say while he was detained, he yelled that he would "hunt us down and kill us after getting out" and "find us and shoot us."
Thompson also had an active warrant for burglary in Santa Clara, Calif., say police.
