Police said Raphael hit her in the chest with a bed board, then hit her with his hands several times. While the woman was on the floor crying, police said, Raphael broke a window at the home and then went outside and broke a window on the woman's vehicle.

The woman told police domestic violence had happened before and said, "He cannot get away with this again."

According to the arrest form, as the woman gave her statement to officers, an officer heard Raphael tell the woman, "You rapping too much to the police."

Police said Raphael told them the damage to the windows was "old," and didn't have an explanation of how the woman was hurt.

Raphael was arrested on charges of aggravated battery, simple battery and criminal damage to property.
