HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -

Hollywood police arrested a man in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash in 2011.

Albert Verdi was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death without rendering aid.

According to investigators, the crash happened in the 700 block of Sheridan Street on the bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway on May 13.

Police said Verdi was driving when he hit Willmar Edwardo Galeano, a bicyclist. Galeano died a few days later.
