Police arrested a man accused of meeting a 12-year-old boy online and going to meet him for sex.

Police arrested Bruce Carter on March 5.

Police say Carter, 49, met the boy through an online social networking application. He then arranged to meet the boy for sex.

When he arrived at the meeting place, police arrested Carter. He was charged with one count of transmitting harmful material to a minor; two counts of prohibition of certain uses of computer devices; and, one count of traveling to meet a minor for sex.
