20-month investigation leads to arrest of Pikerson Mentor
A federal jury found a man guilty of killing a United States Postal Service carrier after the 30-year veteran was killed in 2010.
Pikerson Mentor was found guilty on all 14 counts filed against him in the killing of Miami letter carrier Bruce Parton. Parton, a 30-year veteran, was murdered on December 6, 2010, while delivering to the Monte Carlo condominiums at 482 NW 165th Street Road.
Mentor shot Parton and took his arrow key, which he and his co-conspirators used to devise an identity theft scheme related to IRS tax fraud.
