Investigators are searching for a man who robbed two North Lauderdale stores last week.

The first robbery occurred just after 5:30 p.m. July 6 at the One Love and Music store. The Broward sheriff's Office said a man held two store employees at gunpoint, stole some property and then left the store on foot.

On July 8, a man fitting the same description robbed the cashier at Big Daddy's Liquors at 5450 N. State Road 7. In that case, he escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 200 pounds. During both crimes. he was wearing a green striped shirt, khaki pants and a baseball cap.
