A man turned in his 19-year-old son after seeing surveillance images of him robbing two elderly women as they tried to board a bus in Boca Raton, Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies said.

Deputies said a 97-year-old woman and her 85-year-old sister, one of whom was using a wheelchair and the other of whom was pushing it, were trying to get on a bus about 4:30 p.m. April 12 at the Publix Shopping Center at 9886 Glades Road when the robbery occurred.

The PBSO said a man came from behind and grabbed the purse of one of the two women, and the women and the wheelchair fell over.

One of the women was hospitalized with two broken ribs.

Adam Bardisa's father turned him into police and the teen was arrested on charges of robbery and aggravated battery on an elderly person. He is being held on $25,000 bond.
