MIAMI – March 1st is the deadline to file for a property tax exemption in the state of Florida.
In November, two new exemptions were passed, including an exemption for seniors who have lived on their property for over 25 years and for the surviving spouse of a military veteran or first responded who was killed in the line of duty.
