Marlins play Braves in home opener Monday night
Team has 1-5 record going into game
The Miami Marlins face the Atlanta Braves in the team's home opener Monday.
The Marlins are currently 1-5. Fans remain bitter about the team finishing in last in the NL East after opening Marlins Park and owner Jeffrey Loria trading away a number of player in a move perceived as a salary dump.
"We're supporting. They're my Miami Marlins now, that's all we can do," said Frantz Michele.
The Braves are 5-1 and in first place in the NL East.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. Kevin Slowey will be on the mound for the Marlins.
The Marlins are offering a free ticket to a home game in April or May to anyone who buys a ticket to the home opener.
