MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -

A masseur at the Fontainebleau was charged with sexual battery after police said he inappropriately touched and licked a woman during a massage.

Francisco Araica, 27, turned himself into police on Thursday.

According to an arrest report, the victim was receiving a massage at the Lapis Spa inside the hotel on Sunday. During the massage, Araica sexually battered the woman and licked her. The victim grabbed his hand and moved it away when he touched her.

Police said the victim then talked to Araica for about 10 minutes before he left the massage room. He reportedly told her he "had never done this before but she was so beautiful." She then called police and waited for them to arrive.

Detectives said the victim positively identified Araica in a photo lineup.

The victim had previously had at least 20 massages at the Lapis Spa without incident.

The Fontainebleau issued a statement, saying: "The safety and well-being of our patrons, guests and Team Members is our primary concern at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and our Security and Operations teams work diligently to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.  Fontainebleau does not comment on guests, as per hotel policy, but the resort is cooperating fully with the Miami Beach Police Department, as well as conducting its own internal investigation."

Araica is charged with one count of sex battery.
