The FBI is looking for a group of robbers who stole money and merchandise from a Saks Fifth Avenue store in Boca Raton.
The robbery happened at the Boca Raton Town Center Mall, located at 6000 W. Glades Road, about 7:50 p.m. on September 20.
According to investigators, between three and five robbers, armed with sledgehammers, entered the store and ordered employees and customers to lay on the ground. The men knocked over a display case and then stole cash and merchandise before leaving. The amount of cash and merchandise stolen was not immediately released.
Agents believe they used a black BMW as a getaway vehicle.
Saks Fifth Avenue released a statement about the robbery, saying: "The safety of our associates and customers is of utmost importance to Saks. We are cooperating with authorities on the matter.
The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
