MIAMI -

Thousands of items left behind by world travelers heading through Miami International Airport are hitting the auction block on Saturday.

The airport sent out a news release on Tuesday touting that, "hundreds of items including luggage, sporting equipment, electronics (e.g. laptop computers, digital music players, cellular phones, digital cameras, CD and DVD players), jewelry, toys, paintings and more will be auctioned at bargain prices."

The MIA lost-and-found auction starts at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at 5600 NW 36th St. on the third floor of Building 845.

Attendees will be allowed to preview auction items from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. before the auction begins.

Paul May will once again be the auctioneer. Before the last Auction in April, May told Local 10: "Expect to have a lot of fun," May said. "It's curiosity why they're coming, and they're hoping to be a winner, and we hope they do, too."
