Miami hosts Three Kings Day Parade

The 43rd Annual Three Kings Day Parade kicked off Sunday

MIAMI – The annual Three Kings parade rolled through Calle Ocho on Sunday.

Sunday morning, preparations were well underway for the 43rd Annual Parade. The parade is in honor of the three wisemen who traveled to Bethlehem to see Jesus Christ when he was born.

This year's parade honoring the three kings was hosted by the Miami Heat's very own big three.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will be honored as the Grand Marshals.

The parade, which started at 12 p.m. featured marching bands, live animals and colorful parade floats.

The parade traveled down 8th Street, between SW 4th and 17th avenues in Little Havana.

On Sunday morning, a toy drive was held between 9 and 11 a.m. to benefit children in need at El Dorado Furniture located at 2475 SW 8th St.
