A missing child alert issued Friday for a 16-year-old boy last seen Thursday in Miami has been canceled.

Michael Robinson, 16, was last seen in the area of the 8200 block of South Dixie Highway.

Investigators had said he may be with a man who is about 6 feet tall with a muscular build and long dreadlocks who may go by the name of "Peter Boss."

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement canceled the missing child alert Friday afternoon, saying only that the case was resolved.
