Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said a missing elderly woman with dementia has been found.

Patricia Ennis, 69, left the Atlantic Shores Retirement Home on foot around 6:15 p.m. Friday.

The retirement home is located at 1500 N. Riverside Dr. in Pompano Beach.

Ennis was found by a good Samaritan Saturday morning along Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale.

Authorities had said she was in good physical condition and is a fast walker.

A Fort Lauderdale Police officer took Ennis back to the retirement home.
