Mother hit by car while holding child

A mother and her 22-month-old child were hit by a car while crossing the street in Deerfield Beach Thursday.
Authorities said both were suffering non-life threatening injuries.
The Broward Sheriff's office said it happened at Hillsboro Boulevard and Military Trail.
The boy was transported by air rescue to Broward Health as a precaution, authorities said.
Deputies said the mother was transported by ambulance to Broward Health North.
