Motorcyclist hospitalized after crash on U.S. 27

Accident near mile marker 41 on U.S. 27

WESTON, Fla. -

A motorcyclist was hospitalized Sunday morning after a crash on U.S. 27 north of I-75.

The accident happened around10:05 a.m. near mile marker 41. According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the motorcyclist was flown to North Broward Medical Center as a trauma alert patient. 

Authorities say there were no long term road closures as a result of the crash.
