A motorcyclist was injured in a crash on Interstate 75 near mile marker 43 on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 (Alligator Alley), which were shut down after the crash.

A woman was transported to the hospital. Her condition was not immediately released.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
