He is coffee personified.  Juan Valdez greeted traveler's at Miami International Airport, outside the new cafe that bears his name.

The coffee icon has represented Colombian coffee growers for decades, but on Friday the 13th, Valdez was standing near gate D-24 luring customers with his famous java.

The cafe opened December 23.  It's the 7th location in North America, and the 5th at a U.S. airport.
