Police are investigating a fatal shooting at an office building in Miami Gardens.

The scene unfolded Friday night inside "Helping Hands With Quality," a home Healthcare business office on the second floor. Several employees were still inside.

Police report that witnesses say a gunman came in the office and started threatening some of the employees. One of them shot and killed the gunman.

No charges were immediately filed by police.

"At this time, we're still running through our investigation and what our investigation reveals this evening will determine if there are any charges," said Captain Alfred Lewers with the Miami Gardens Police Department.

The name of both the shooter and the intruder have not been released.
