No regrets for man with Romney tattoo
Pro wrestler received $15,000 for tattoo
An Indiana man who was paid $15,000 to have a permanent Mitt Romney campaign tattoo inked on his face says he has no regrets after his candidate lost last week.
Over the summer, Eric Hartsburg, 30, used eBay to sell space on his face and accepted the Romney tattoo offer in October because he was a registered Republican.
But even after Romney's loss to President Obama in the national election, there are no tears being shed.
"I’m a tattoo guy, and it was something fun,' Hartsburgh told Politico. 'I was trying to make politics fun. I didn’t change no lives; I’m no hero. But I shed blood for this campaign, and I’m glad to know that I did all that I could."
A part-time professional wrestler, Hartsburg will now have to live with the memory of Romney's ill-fated campaign for the rest of his life.
"Totally disappointed, man," he said. "I'm the guy who has egg all over his face, but instead of egg, it's a big Romney/Ryan tattoo. It's there for life."
