As widespread media outlets reported that former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice has surged into Mitt Romney's short list of possible running mates, she is now co-favorite along with Sen. Marco Rubio to be picked, according to the online oddsmakers.

Sportsbook.com lists Rubio and Rice at 3-to-1 odds. That means that if you bet $100 on Rubio or Rice to get picked, and they get picked, you would win $300 plus your initial investment of $100 or $400 total.

Sen. Rob Portman from Ohio and fmr. Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty are next at 7-to-2 odds.

Fmr. Fla. Gov. Jeb Bush remains a longshot at 50-to-1 odds.
