Orangutans at Jungle Island used iPads to pick the winner in Tuesday's Republican primary.

The apes are using the iPads as part of a program that focuses on teaching them a means of communication.

Monday, Jungle Island workers had the orangutans pick which candidate they thought would win the Republican primary in Florida.

Workers said initial poll results had 3 out of 6 orangutans choosing Mitt Romney as the winner.

Two of the orangutans chose Gingrich, and one didn't want to participate.
