PBSO: 1 dead in diving accident
Police say no foul play suspected

A man died Sunday in a diving accident off Boynton Inlet, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said.
Investigators said Jack Valente, 47, of Bellmore, N.Y., took part in a commercial dive several miles off Boynton Inlet on Sunday.
During his second dive, he was found face-down in 75 feet of water, police said.
Valente was taken to the surface and given CPR. He was transported to Bethesda Memorial Hospital, where he died, police said.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of Valente’s death.
The Sheriff’s Office said no foul play is suspected.
