Fresh off his debate performance in Denver, Mitt Romney has surged to the lead in Florida, according to a brand new poll.
The Rasmussen Reports poll of likely Florida voters shows the former Massachusetts governor with 49 percent of the vote and President Obama with 47 percent.
The telephone survey of 500 likely Florida voters was conducted on Thursday.
There is a margin of error of +/- 4.5 percent.
