Pair Suspected Of Using Missing Woman's Card Found

Search Continues For Hallandale Beach Woman

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Two women suspected of using a credit card belonging to a missing Hallandale Beach woman have been located, but the search for the missing woman continues.

Lynda Meier, 40, was last seen on June 4 as she left her home in the 1800 block of South Ocean Drive in Hallandale Beach.

Flier: Lynda Meier Missing

Police said that the next day, two women used Meier's Mastercard at a Walmart store in Miami Lakes, and investigators released a surveillance image of the suspects. On Friday, Hallandale Beach police said they had identified and interviewed the two women. There was no word on any possible charges.

Meier has not been found, and a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information. A friend handed out fliers with Meier's picture on Friday to customers at a Starbucks in Aventura in the hope of generating tips.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has joined in the search for Meier.
