Pair busted trying to shoplift from Victoria's Secret in Boynton Beach
Shoplifting suspects caught with more than $800 worth of women's underwear
Two women were busted trying to shoplift from the Victoria's Secret store in Boynton Beach.
Boynton Beach Police said Maria De La Caridad Busutil, 19, Maria M. Mendoza, 26, tried to leave the store at the Boynton Beach mall with $810 worth of women's underwear on Tuesday.
Detectives said the women were armed with bags wrapped in aluminum foil which are used to throw off the store security devices.
But, they were busted anyway. Police said the pair drove up from Miami.
The pair was also charged with shoplifting from the Spencer's Gifts store in the mall.
Both are charged with retail theft and possession of shoplifting device.
They are being held at the Palm Beach County Jail on $9,000 bond.
