Parting is such sweet sorrow
It always hurts a little when my 2-year-old hardly notices when I leave in the morning.
She LOVES her babysitter, and for that I am incredibly grateful. But I have to admit it stings just a tiny bit when she runs into her arms and could care less if I go to work or not.
Well, this morning for the first time, as soon as she heard my heels coming down the hall she ran up to me and said “Don’t leave Mommy, don’t leave.”
That hurt worse.
