Patrol officer finds woman's body on South Beach

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -

A woman was found dead early Wednesday morning on South Beach.

Investigators say a patrol officer found the victim in Lummus Park, along Ocean Drive at 12th Street.

Police say there was no trauma to the body and they do not yet have a cause of death.

They believe the woman was homeless and are working to identify the body.
