Pembroke Pines religious instructor accused of fondling boy, 5
Boy had been going to suspect's home for religious studies
A 71-year-old Pembroke Pines man is accused of fondling a 5-year-old boy while the boy was at his home for religious studies, police said.
The boy's parents told police their son told them Masroor Ahmed Syed touched his genitals several times while receiving religious teaching. The boy's parents said he had been receiving lessons from Syed from September 2011 to June 28.
Police have not said whether other children also received religious lessons at Syed's home.
Syed has been charged with one count of lewd or lascivious molestation on a child younger than 12.
