HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -

Hollywood Police are on the hunt for a man who stole a pair of pet pot bellied pigs.

The pigs were in a 1996 white extended cab Mazda pickup truck, parked in the driveway of a home at 3113 Hollywood Blvd. The truck and the animals belong to Charles Bourquin, who was in the backyard of the house repairing the lawn sprinkler system Wednesday afternoon around 1:30. Bourquin had left the keys in the ignition.

A neighbor, Jannie Scardina, told Local 10's Baron James that she saw the thief, a heavyset man who walked with a limp, when he went inside her car which was parked in her driveway. When she questioned him, she said he walked away toward Bourquin's truck.

Scardina says she jumped in her car and tried to follow the thief, but he got away.

Bourquin said all he really wants are his pigs back. He breeds and sells them.

He's hoping someone spots his pickup with it's flame markings on the sides, signs that advertise his lawn care and sprinkler business, and signs that say "Pot bellied pigs for sale." His telephone number is also written on the truck: 954.394.3722

If you have any information, call police.
