A pilot was not hurt, except for his ego, after a bizarre crash in the Florida Keys.

Monroe County sheriff's deputies said the pilot of the single-engine Cessna forgot to put down his landing gear.

He ended up skidding to a stop at the airport on Summerland Key on Friday.

The pilot and the other two people on the plane were not hurt.

An investigation into the incident continues.
