Police in Plantation arrested a woman who detectives said lit a trailer on fire, killing two animals.

Denise Griesler was arrested on Tuesday.

According to investigators, Griesler set fire to a mobile home in the 300 block of Northwest 135th Avenue last Thursday. She threatened to burn the trailer because she wasn't going to be able to continue living there.

Griesler was found unresponsive in the yard when firefighters arrived. A cat and bird were killed in the fire.

Griesler faces several charges, including first-degree arson.
