Police: $2.5K stolen from fast food restaurant

MIAMI – Police are asking for the public's help in identifying three people who hit up a fast food restaurant in Miami for more than $2,500.

The grand theft happened on Nov. 28, 2012 at a restaurant at 16733 Northwest 67th Avenue, police said.

According to investigators, three subjects entered the fast food establishment around 2:48 p.m. The first person entered the back office to steal the cash while two others distracted an employee, police said.

Investigators said surveillance video captured the image of the subjects.
