BOCA RATON, Fla. -

A man is accused of video voyeurism after he allegedly videotaped a woman and her daughter while the pair were in a bathroom at a Boca Raton park, police said.

Detectives arrested Douglas Hughes, 27, and charged him with two counts of video voyeurism.

According to police, the woman and her 10-year-old daughter were changing in the bathroom at Red Reef Park on North Ocean Boulevard on Saturday when the girl saw a hand holding a white iPhone between the window slats.

The girl's mother then said she ran outside and saw a red Toyota leave the park. She gave police the vehicle's tag number.

The owner of the vehicle told police her son drives the car.

Officers then spoke with Hughes who said he was jogging in Red Reef Park, but claimed he didn’t have his phone with him.

On Tuesday, detectives questioned Hughes again. This time, they said Hughes admitted to recording the victim and her daughter. Hughes also said that he secretly recorded people several times at Red Reef Park and Patch Reef Park.

He is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail on $40,000 bond.
