BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -

Police said they stopped a shoplifter from getting away with jewelry.

Boynton Beach Police said the accused shoplifter tried to walk out of the Kohl's store on North Congress Avenue on Sunday evening with the jewelry.

Store security officers said they stopped Sarah Bordwell when she passed all sales registers.

Officers said they searched Bordwell and found $112 worth of stolen items on her.

They then held her until police arrived.

Bordwell was charged with retail theft and released with a notice to appear in court.
