Marc Vega faces escape, domestic battery charges

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -

Police found a man who escaped police custody in Hollywood.

Police were searching for Marc Vega near the 4500 block of Sheridan Street about 3:45 p.m.

Police say Vega, 33, was apprehended as part of a domestic violence incident. He then escaped from the back of a Hollywood Police Department squad car.

Vega surrendered to police about an hour and a half later.

Vegas will be charged with domestic battery and escape, police say.
