Coral Springs police arrested a man for allegedly stabbing his mother to death late Saturday night.

Police arrested Dee Jony Etienne, 30. He will be charged with first degree murder.

Police said they found the body of Joceleine Pericles, 53, in the front yard of a home along 3700 block of North Riverside Drive, just north of Sample Road. Her son had left the scene when police arrived.

Police set up a perimeter to locate Etienne. He was found hiding behind a nearby gas station.

Police said the stabbing was the result of a domestic dispute.
